In my pursuit of understanding Maxwell and his far reaching equations, I have undertaken the work of transcribing the the sections of his Treatise dealing with the derivation of his equations into modern notation in the hope that it will be more easily understood. I have made one pass at that and am not quite satisfied with the form I have come with and in the process of going back thru them. My intent is to publish those works here in the near future. For now I will leave a taste of my work for you to consider. This is a supporting article from Volume I of his treatise. Also, included is a key to the works. Keep in mind that this is a Work In Progress.
